Developing a Family Worship Plan
Time: 9 – 11am
Where: BCC Gray Room
Description: Our world is fast paced, especially for families. It may feel like a constant struggle to find time to spend time together in Scripture and prayer when everyone is being pulled in different directions. We want to be living lives of worship, intentionally applying the Gospel to our day-to-day, but we also want to lead our families into set-apart, structured times of worship.
This workshop is designed to help you think through Family Worship for your family.
•Why is Family Worship important?
•What are reasonable expectations to have for Family Worship?
•How often should we worship together?
•What should we read? What resources are available?
•Should we sing? Even if we’re not musical?
•What are common pitfalls to look out for?
During this workshop, we want to provide you an opportunity to get some thoughts down on paper, bounce ideas off one another, and engage in directed conversation about what has worked (and maybe what hasn’t).
As always, we will have refreshments. Childcare will be provided.
