Responding Generously to our Generous God

Jesus discussed money more than anything else in His ministry. We regularly look past our financial resources when we think about discipleship, but Jesus doesn’t. How we manage our finances opens a window to our hearts (Matthew 6:21). When we are joyfully and sacrificially generous with that which God has given us, the Gospel is proclaimed. How? God gave up his only Son so that we might live; this is the greatest act of generosity. “He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things (Romans 8:32)?”
